About Ericka Roxas

Ericka is an IT Auditor at GCS Malta. Prior to joining GCS, she was a Business Technology Risk Senior Associate in EY Malta and SGV & Co.’s/EY Philippines' Advisory practice, specializing in IT Risk & Assurance. She has been a part of this leading professional services firm in the Philippines since January 2016 after she passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Board Exam last October 2015. She was given the ‘Academic Excellence Award’ and earned the degree of Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Batangas in May of the same year. Worked first as an associate in the firm’s tax division, Ericka became trained on juggling multiple accounts with simultaneous deadlines. Then finally transferring to Risk Assurance focusing on audit support and advisory engagements for international companies in the US, Asia-Pacific and Oceania regions. She has now a broad exposure and experience in various IT Audit engagements such as (1) Financial Audit IT Integration (FAIT),(2) IT Infrastructure Review (various OS and Databases), and IT General and Application Controls Review. Now an experienced associate and with more than six (6) years of in-depth exposure to various industries, she can confidently discuss potential issues and suggest testing procedures. Furthermore, based on feedback, Ericka has left an impression as a highly reliable resource and a performer even under pressure.
