I am a highly motivated, organized, methodical and results driven Data Analyst with an administrational and financial background who wants to excel at his work. I have been recently certified as Data Analyst by the BCS with distinction throughout an apprenticeship. I can learn very quickly and hit the ground running. I have a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service and improvements to a broad range of clients. During my career I have undertaken a number of roles. These have enabled me to build and develop a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge for different departments and services including advance knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, a good understanding of Access Database (including creating SQL and basic queries). One of my biggest accomplishments during 2020 was to create a model able to forecast the Fostering spent and compare it to our given budget and finally reconcile the monthly expenditure to check if we were meeting our targets, overspending or underspending. The model was built with a combination of in-house fostering data, data extracted from CareFirst and a transaction report from ERP Gold and combined with excel spreadsheet to make complex calculations. The assumption at the base of the calculations is that whenever a foster payment is required an agreement number needs to be active (no agreement number, no payment can be set up). This agreement has a start date and an end date, therefore we can assume that if it is closed, it should have limited the forecast Fostering Allowance and Skill level payment to the close date. If the agreement is still open, we can project what the costs could be from the 01/04 until 31/03. The projected payment takes into account the age of the child (including if their 11th or 18th birthday happens during the year) and also the skill level of the foster carer with whom the child is placed. Similarly, I have calculated a possible Spend for Emergency and Remand placements; Family link costs were calculated on the base of single agreement type between the linked child and carer (a certain amount of care is established in the CIN plan). Discretionary payments (like travel claims, uniforms and so on) were calculated based on 2019/2020 average costs per Spend and divided per average number of children that were in care during the same period of time. The same data is used as a base to produce a fostering Service dashboard for monthly performances check and also to produce monthly scorecards.
