About Erik de Roode

Before starting a career as business consultant in 2002 I worked for 13 years in the chemical industry in a variety of international business organisations and was located in four different countries in Europe. During this period I held several operational and senior managerial finance & accounting positions as a member of business management and executive teams. Over the last 19 years I have in my role as program / project manager successfully managed and implemented a substantial number of business and IT projects involving changes in business models, process improvements, integration of organizations and transformation of IT systems (mainly SAP R/3, ECC, S4/HANA) for a number of multinational companies in a variety of industries (process and discrete manufacturing, professional services, trading). The combination of more than three decades of practical in-depth business knowledge and my program / project and change management skills allow me to contribute substantially to a widespread range of programs / projects and work effectively at all levels within an organisation. My approach can be characterised as pragmatic and enthusiastic with a strong focus on delivering results on time in full.
