Scientist with extensive experience in analytical development of chromatographic and related analytical methods development for the separation, isolation and characterization of a wide range of biomolecules and biotherapeutics including oligonucleotides / aptamers, exosomes, AAV, lentivirus as well as large DNA species. Separation methodology includes HPLC / UPLC (IEX ion-exchange chromatography, RP-IP reverse phase and reverse phase ion-pair chromatography, SEC size exclusion chromatography, AF4 / Field Flow Fractionation as well as LCMS of oligos in the <100bp range. Custom affinity ligand development experience for analytical and preparative scale affinity chromatography as well as affinity chromatography of commercially available resins for virus quantiation and characterization. MALS analysis of isocratic separations of biomolecules and related conjugates coupled to SEC and for biophysical characterization. NTA Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis and DLS characterization of vesicles and virus particles. Orthogonal separation techniques including precipitation/capture reagent as well as semi-preparative scale ultracentrifugation using sucrose and iodixanol gradients. Process residuals support for various analytes employing RP, HILIC, and mixed-mode separations incorporating analyte-specific detection methodology.
