About Erik Heller

When I was younger, my parents always told me,"Money doesn't buy happiness, money buys choices." This sparked my interest in investing and personal finance as a teenager. Throughout college at MTSU and my previous career in education, investing and living below my means was always an important part of how I lived my life. During my time as a 4th and 5th grade math teacher, I incorporated investing and personal finance into as many lessons as possible. I believe that understanding how money works makes it much easier to manage, and significantly less scary. This opened a door to become a financial advisor with Edward Jones. At Edward Jones, we value personal relationships based on a deep understanding of your unique financial needs. As a financial advisor, I will partner with my clients to help chart an achievable path toward reaching their personal financial goals. Knowing who you are, and the values you hold dear, will help me provide guidance specifically tailored to your needs. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, Jackilyn. As an educator herself, her involvement in STEM instruction allows me to volunteer with Lego Robotics helping children learn valuable technological and communication skills. I also enjoy being active, whether its lifting weights, swimming or hiking; anything that gets the heart rate elevated is a win for me.
