About Erik Kawar
Back in 2008 I started my career in the food industry which lead me to multiple new opportunities. Working at a Subway in Wisconsin, they quickly advanced me to a shift manager and eventually put me through a series of Management training courses to help build my leadership skills, knowledge cost control for product and labor, as well as helping maintain a positive work environment for staff and customers alike. In 2009, I moved to Cincinnati and broadened my horizons by working at a small Bar/Cafe and Music Venue. At 21, I was unsure on how to manage such business but the owner appreciated my work experience, upbeat attitude, and knowledge of cost control. I learned a lot when it comes to not just running a business, but maintaining a brand and building a solid customer base. I later moved to working at a local Restaurant brand where I furthered my career by eventually becoming a General Manager for the Market and off site locations. This eventually gave me an opportunity to grow and move into the Bistro's as a Bar and Front of House manager where I further my knowledge of managing staff, business, and a brand. I appreciated all the connections I made in the food industry and still hold my experiences very dear to me but after 10+ years in management, I was ready for a change. I was given the opportunity to start at a Tech company as a support agent. I was able to apply my personal skills, my self taught knowledge of technology, and my management/organizational skills to use in a new environment. Here I began my career in understanding a whole new skill set. I have grown to somewhere I would not imagine I would be 10 years ago and I appreciate every step of the way it has taken me to get here. I found that I love to help and support clients, no matter what industry I fall in. More than that, I have come to appreciate how much I have learned in the past and how hungry I am to learn more. I can't wait to see where I go as a Customer Success Engineer and beyond.
