About Erik Koenen

With over 25 years of experience in management consulting and banking, I now serve as a Board Advisor at Save the Children, Chair at EGN, and Advisor at Haxtech, following my retirement as Partner from Oliver Wyman, a leading global firm. Throughout my career, I worked with local and international clients across various industries, such as financial services, technology, retail, and healthcare, providing strategic advice, innovative solutions, and customer-centric service. My passion is to enable large and small companies to become and stay competitive and innovative on the global stage. I leverage my skills and expertise in customer relationship management, consulting, and strategy, as well as my knowledge of digital disruption, cloud computing, and machine learning, to deliver value and impact to organizations and partners. In my advisory role at Haxtech Indonesia, I coach and mentor founders and entrepreneurs at this digital accelerator that supports startups in the region. Through my position as Chair at EGN, I facilitate peer-to-peer learning and strategic networking among business leaders. As a Board Advisor at Save the Children, I contribute to the organization's mission to improve children's lives worldwide. I have a Master's Degree in Management, a Level 5 Certification in Risk Management, and multiple online certifications in digital marketing and artificial intelligence. I am fluent in English, Indonesian, and Dutch.
