About Erik Milles

Experienced communicator and leader specialized in internal communications and change communications. With more than 20 years of working with operative and strategic communication, I have the craftsmanship, tools and strategies to create functional communication. I have held numerous roles at senior level, such as project manager, change lead and responsible for internal communications in large global organizations – in both start-up/hypergrowth environments as well as stock listed corporate organizations. I always work from an editorial approach and independent of the channel – with moving images as well as with copy, in both English and Swedish. Experience in devising communication and digital strategies as well as implementing policies, systems and processes. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to build lasting relationships and synergies across business lines. Something that usually fascinates people I meet is my background as a freediver at an elite level. I have competed for over 18 years around the world and have, among other things, participated in five World Championships. Apart from all the rewarding personal moments my passion has given me, it has also taught me one or two things about the importance of your mindset, having motivating goals, a clear plan and a perseverant yet adaptable approach to realize what you want to achieve – insights highly beneficial also in my work. Some of my accomplishments: Supporting transformation, building internal culture and engagement by rolling out the collaboration tool Workplace from Meta to over employees in 54 countries. Defining business requirements and launching a new SharePoint-based intranet for office workers. Developing communication strategy and plan for a change program affecting more than employees worldwide.
