Erik, a Renton native, attended Tahoma High School and then went on to receive his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Washington. At the University of Washington, Erik was a four-year letter earner in golf, winning the Pac-10 Championship in 2005. He then went on to pursue a career as a professional golfer on the Canadian Tour. Erik lives in Issaquah with his wife, Andrea. In his spare time, he enjoys drinking wine, working out at Cascade CrossFit, and playing golf.
