About Erik Rundgren

I have done R&D and conformance EMC product validation measurements of wireless mobile devices, enabling the CE certificate practically for a big number of cellular handsets entering the market. I I’ve also done wireless Radio Access Technology infrastructure performance & functionality testing and test case development in multipath fading environment with channel emulator in conductive and OTA environment as an Field Application Engineer in direct customer interface, consulting the customer technically in their lab. I’ve done a lot of demos & evaluations, customized test environment & test case creation, commissioning of equipment, training and support for customer segments like operators, mobile device developers, chipset vendors, base station manufacturers, test houses, research labs and the defense industry. I’m using a various set of different RF measurement equipment and tools hands-on, like communication tester/base station simulator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generators, power meters, and related SW tools. I have a broad understanding of various Radio Access Technologies and different I&V areas. I’m experienced on operative test laboratory management; technical teams with direct reports, budget frameworks and coordination of business operational plans. Project management of mobile device engine (platform) verification (pre-certification, regulatory HW/SW certifications like CE, FCC, GCF/PTCRB, and Country Specific Certifications). AS A PERSON I’m well-motivated, precise and productive with a positive, optimistic and realistic attitude perceiving easily the wholeness’s, but focusing on the smallest details when needed. I am very service oriented and feel comfortable with practical work but capable on operative management of people and projects too. I do appreciate the individual, diversity empowers. I’m experienced on individual work and decision making but appreciate achieving together – great achievements are done together.
