Prior to forming Pareto and Avance, was a Managing Director at Palladium Equity Partners. Prior to Palladium, had several senior private equity roles, including Principal at FdG Associates and Principal of Parthenon Capital. Prior to Parthenon Capital, worked at Raymond James Capital’s private equity business, at Allied Capital making mezzanine/growth investments, at Alex. Brown & Sons in tech/M&A and began career at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. in M&A, working for PE clients and setting sail on his journey as an investor and business builder. Mr. Scott earned a B.A. magna cum laude in Economics with a concentration in Spanish from Vanderbilt University, and an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia where he was a recipient of the William Michael Shermet award. Mr. Scott has also been involved in several non-profit organizations including The Robert Toigo Foundation, where he has served on the board, The Robin Hood Foundation, Exchange Club, New York and DC Cares, Boys & Girls Clubs, Donors Choose and various art museums. Mr. Scott lives in Connecticut with his wife and four children.
