About Erik Stirens

Hello, my name is Erik Stirens and I am a 26 year old Army Veteran. I spent 6 years in the Army National Guard as an Ammunitions Specialist (89B). In my time in the military I got to travel to Japan to conduct ammunitions training, act as a Squad Leader to my ammo squad for about 2 years, drive numerous large vehicles across the United States highways, help provide relief to a city suffering from the flooded Mississippi River, help distribute the COVID-19 vaccine to the citizens of the United States, and much more. In my civilian life, I have spent the last 3 years as a licensed mortgage loan originator. I spent the most time at Veterans United where I learned the in's and out's of the VA loan. The experience I've gained there is priceless as I can always share my expertise with less informed troops and/or veterans. That was one of my favorite connections between my civilian life and my military life. Finally, I am beginning a new journey with Boeing as a Munitions Mechanic. It is my hope that this will be my final employer and that I can work a long and successful career with such a great company!
