I'm Erik Sullivan, an experienced Professional Engineer specializing in the Oil & Gas Industry. In my current position, I am responsible for overseeing the Engineering and Maintenance of Canada's first Renewable Diesel Plant and ensuring a smooth transition from the project team to normal operations. Working on-site in Prince George, British Columbia, I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver high-quality results. Prior to my current role, I served as a Turnaround Manager and Project Engineer. These experiences honed my skills in project management, logistics, and asset management, contributing to successful project outcomes. Additionally, I gained valuable insights as a Reliability Engineer at Husky Energy, where I focused on rotating equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing standardized maintenance programs. Before transitioning into the downstream energy industry, I worked as a PROACT Field Engineer at Schlumberger, gaining international exposure and expertise in rotating equipment maintenance and project engineering in the upstream oil & gas industry. Education-wise, I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, where I also completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the same field. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a strong foundation in engineering principles and refined my skills in Matlab, Solidworks, and ANSYS.
