About Erik Tollander

Currently I function as a product engineer in the otation business line at Metso:Outotec. Metso:Outotec is a leader in mining enriching machines, especially in ores that are enriched by otation (eg. copper, gold, molybdenum). The business line is responsible of maintaining and improving the otation machines, both as concepts and products. My main responsibilities are in the strength calculations and mechanical design. I graduated from Aalto University as Masters of Science in technology (August 2016), with a major in solid mechanics and minor in product development as well as in structural engineering. I am mostly interested in strength analysis or as a design engineer probably in product development or structural design. My main expertise is in material elastic behavior as well as knowledge in structural strength calculation and product development. In addition I have expertise in mechanics and analysis of stability. In my current role I have gained experience in mechanical engineering.
