About Erik Tomson

With over 15 years of experience in the software testing industry, I am currently the Director of QA and Release Management at Coolbet, a leading online gaming company. I oversee the quality assurance and release management processes for all the products and platforms, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction. I also lead and coach a team of QA engineers and release managers, empowering them to deliver quality solutions in an agile environment. In addition to my current role, I have been the Head of QA at Coolbet since 2021, where I established and improved the QA strategy, framework, and tools for the company. Previously, I was a Product Development Manager at Betsson Group, where I supported the agile transformation, set up value streams and teams, and coached development teams. I hold the CSM and ISTQB CTFL certifications, and I have strong skills in software testing, test automation, and Jira. I am passionate about creating value for the customers and the business, and I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. I am always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies, and to share my knowledge and experience with others.
