About Erik Wines

I found and identified bugs in low-level Microchip code running on INICs. I re-factored and wrote tens of thousands of lines of test code in both C# and Visual Basic. I automate basic tasks using PowerShell, SQL, and Python. I document and improve processes, saving time, money and resources. I am comfortable with both proprietary software and hardware. I support partners, customers, users, and co-workers via chat, text, phone, video, and in-person on-site. I focus largely on programming in C#, C++, Java, and C. I worked on a year long project developing an Android app utilizing the Fitbit API. I like writing efficient and compact code with lots of comments. I program on both Windows and Linux. I have extensive experience using Android Studio and Visual Studio. I have worked alone, in pairs, in small groups, and large teams. I've used the Atlassian Suite, Azure DevOps, ServiceDesk and ServiceNow. My favorite text editors are: VS Code, Notepad++ and Emacs. I am very fond of well-written documentation.
