About Erika Jacobs

My passion and my major skill is art. I have been a self taught artist since I was a child. I draw, paint with watercolor, acrylic, and I like to craft with animal skulls. I have different types of styles and techniques that I use. I draw mostly realism, semi realism, psychedelic, and cartoons. I am best with animals, creatures, and certain objects but I am also teaching myself to improve how I draw humans. I am looking for commissioners and partners. I am interested in creating commissions but I am also interested in getting involved with bigger projects like children's books or public community projects. Last year (2019), I was involved with one in Fort Collins hosted by the "Garden Project Community" which is also partnered with "FoCo Cafe", a non profit organization. They needed artists to paint on their big plywood pieces so that they could display them in their garden at FoCo Cafe. This year (2020), I was involved in an art event where I got to set up my own art booth for the first time. I wish to expand my skill, experience, and name with my work. I have done retail for 5 years and I'm good at it but my passion is my art.
