Passionate about people. The win in building relationships and in business areas of human well-being. Starting off my career, I slipped into insurance by chance as it was the only type of company I audited where I didn't have to review payrolls (!) as a senior associate. Luckily, my experiences from auditing gave me a role as Finance partner at Trygg-Hansa where I got to geek out on insurance data and build up the reporting for the most energizing affinity department (today’s Partnership). Affinity became a stepping stone to the business and underwriting, where I got to learn the technical parts (and lingo) of insurance for real. Missing the overall financial view somewhat, I got the opportunity to take on the role as acting portfolio manager for Personal Accident in Personal Lines. Personal Accident is Trygg-Hansa’s largest portfolio and the one that drives the largest reserves due to its long tail in claims. Working in the Trygg-Hansa’s core business, with the PA industry’s most experienced specialist, is truly developmental. But the most rewarding part is being able to make a difference for people so that they can live a sustainable life. Since my start in 2019 I’ve had the rare opportunity to experience an insurance system migration for the PA portfolio as well as a the merge of two companies (Moderna försäkringar and Trygg-Hansa) and the decision-making required when impacting the business. Other areas of responsibility that I have connected to the business is as a value stream owner and PA’s IT strategy.
