About Erika Provost

Currently, I'm Sr Utilities Business Analyst with the City of Henderson, NV where I started in 2002. My primary role in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) section of the Business Transformation Division is aligning the department's strategic objectives with its geospatial solutions, 3rd party integrations and enterprise software systems (EAM, CMMS, CRM.). I am responsible for optimizing development using spatial ETL tools and low-code solutions that provide a foundation to effectively manage nearly 1 million assets in a water and wastewater utilities environment. My goals today resonate in data and service quality, building trust and eliminating technical debt by designing automated data validation, conversion and plan management systems. Prior to joining the City, I spent time on the Yucca Mountain Project in their Site and Engineering Properties group for TRW/SAIC. My mapping of the proposed transportation routes for Nevada has been published in the Final Environmental Impact Statement for Yucca Mountain's Nuclear Waste Repository. I have a Duke Certificate in Business Analysis (DCBA) and have been a GIS Certified Professional (GISP) for over 14 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. I also recently renewed my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB).
