About Erika Watson

With over seven years of experience in physical security and law enforcement, I am a dedicated and skilled Physical Security Specialist at the Department of Defense (DoD). I work at the Installation Access Control Office, where I manage the security screening and credentialing of visitors, contractors, and personnel. I also conduct threat assessments, security audits, and emergency drills to ensure the safety and compliance of the installation. Previously, I served as an Operations Specialist at the 56th Military Police Company, where I supported the planning and execution of various missions, such as detainee operations, convoy security, and civil disturbance response. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from Columbia Southern University. I have also acquired multiple skills in law enforcement, emergency management, and training. My core competencies include access control, security management, risk analysis, incident response, and team coordination. I am passionate about protecting the DoD and its assets from any potential threats, and I strive to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
