About Erin Atkinson

My experience as a leader in both for-profit and non-profit organizations as well as several years as a volunteer for well respected, exceptional organizations has given me great insight and experience as both a professional and an active member of the community. It is exciting and rewarding to be able to combine my extensive skill set with my community based interests to grow personally and professionally, and collaborate with others to make visions a reality. I bring to every role a commitment to lead with integrity, and encourage collaboration and creativity while providing consistent support and ensuring that the organization and the team have access to the tools necessary to succeed. Throughout my career I have witnessed employees and organizations work diligently to cobble things together with outdated or incompatible resources rather than ask for the tools they need, typically because they presume any expenditure will be denied. The reality is that it is often the use of outdated or incompatible tools that impact the bottom line, and trading out a screwdriver for a hammer is all that is needed to improve productivity. Analysis of organizational fiscal health, applications, policies & procedures, and workplace culture are all part of my toolkit in assessing and maximizing resources, employee satisfaction, and organizational success. Whether working in the for-profit or nonprofit sector, I gauge my success not only through the financial health and stability of the organization, but also through employee satisfaction and industry reputation. An organization that respects and supports its employees as well as develops relationships with industry peers is one that earns an exceptional reputation, a reputation that will drive success.
