A persuasive storyteller with a rich cross-sectoral network of stakeholders (community partners, senior management, directors, government, corporations and local not-for-profits), I am an organization’s biggest champion amplifying its message to wide and diverse audiences. As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Canadian Live Music Association, I develop and execute strategic plans while directing this national and internationally respected association. Specific examples of my leadership include:* Designing and fostering the Canada Live Music Industry Association from its inception *Leading the first-ever economic impact study of Canada’s live music industry, Hear and Now (2025)* Doubling membership 200% and multiplying revenue, 250% within the first 12 months * Securing the first-ever $70M in government funding after advancing our industry narrative * Collaborating to capture the first-ever $2M funding for our music industry charity from government * Leveraging corporate partnerships that captured $500K+ in direct non-governmental funding.* Leading Canada’s first-ever study on “Closing the Gap” to advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and identify recommendations for government to shape policy to change the industry Throughout my career, I have blazed a trail translating vision into reality.
