I am a dedicated nurse with twenty years of experience. I started my career as a nurse assistant. I advanced to a LPN where I worked in Long-term care as a charge nurse and a supervisor. I also worked in rehabilitation. I furthered my education and obtained my degree as a registered nurse and then became an ICU nurse. I feel it is an honor to care for patients. I am also a part time clinical instructor where I lead by caring and example to teach nursing students skills to provide excellent patient care, presence, the importance of team work, social and emotional intelligence, communication, and collaboration. I am currently in a Master's of Nursing Education program so I may teach nursing in the classroom as well.
