About Erin Carlson
Dr. Erin Carlson is Professor at University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include disease prevention in the U.S. and abroad, and access to health care for underserved populations. Dr. Carlson conducts qualitative and quantitative research projects. She has experience leading qualitative evaluations of organizational health system change and state health policy initiatives. Her quantitative work focuses on the cost-effectiveness of chronic disease management programs and infectious disease prevention. She has conducted work worked in local, state, federal and international health settings. Her research has been funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, state research institutes, and local community organizations.
