About Erin Condiff

As I write this today, I am a recent graduate (December 2015) from Hofstra University with a dual Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Mass Media Studies. Having completed my studies in only three and a half years, I am absolutely dizzy at the thought of embarking on the next stage of my life. But alongside that, I am excited and determined and ready. My expertise is communication, most prominently through the written word. In using such a medium, I aim to accomplish several tasks: to bring livelihood to the otherwise mundade, to aid those in need when I can, and to bring forth lasting positive change. Both headstrong and sincere, I approach obstacles with fervor and stubborn determination. Rather than surrendering to a lack of knowledge in a particular area, I make it a point to educate myself and be more prepared in the future. I previously interned at the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hampton Bays and have since learned to craft and distribute press releases with ease; over time, I became acquainted with the attention-grabbing tactics necessary to truly capture the interests of journalists and news outlets. In my spare time I work as a background actor on TV shows and films shooting in and around NYC. My most featured moments have been in "Orange is the New Black", Theo Rossi's "Bad Hurt", and in an upcoming movie titled "Cruise". After rising and shining at indecent hours in the morning for months at a time, I am also pleased to say that I am now eligble to join the Screen Actors Guild. I am proud of my previous achievements, as I have surpassed what I used to believe were my limits and persisted in times of great doubt. I now wish to continue onwards with haste; I feel secure in my abilities and am ready to use them for something greather than myself alongside a team of hardworking individuals that wish to do the same. I am ready, truly, to create.
