About Erin Fair

I am a gamification and engagement specialist. I am passionate about creating high value experiences that align business metrics and user expectations with the use of technology, motivational psychology, and gamification. Bringing the world of imagination, fun, curiosity and epic wins together is an exciting challenge that I'm always ready to take on. I have completed projects with high growth, global software companies. I understand SaaS well and how to build engagement for growth and retention. I have worked with product teams to design solutions that incorporate gaming mechanics into a variety of experiences and processes. I am very comfortable working in start-up environments, and utilize the “Lean Start-Up” methodology. Coming from an Adult Education background I am adept and designing coaching, training, and education experiences leveraging technology. I am an effective communicator and feel very comfortable managing projects, performing needs analysis and building action plans. As an Adjunct Professor and a graduate from Westminster College (USA) with a Masters Degree in Adult Education - Emphasis in Gamification, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, and Curriculum Development I have a strong academic foundation. I enjoy working as part of a team and thrive in a collaborative environment. I currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to this I lived in London, England for 3 years. I love traveling and experiencing the gorgeous world we live in. My favorite part of travel is the food. And my favorite destination (currently) is Italy, although it’s a toss up between Rome and Tuscany. In my spare time I am a portrait photographer, produce a ‘real play’ podcast “Stranded in the Southlands” (so hipster of me), play lots of games, experiment with making new cocktails, hike, paddle board, and am mommy to two amazing little ladies.
