About Erin Foo
Hi, my name is Erin Foo. It’s so nice to meet you! I am a Queens College masters student majoring in Speech Pathology. I aspire to become a speech therapist at a school to work with children with disabilities. Throughout my high school and college career, I’ve worked for various organizations that enhance real world experiences for people with disabilities. Both serving as a tutor on the Committee for Students with Disabilities and as a research intern at the Child Language Lab, I’ve been able to understand students with disabilities struggles with curriculum, work through communication difficulties with children, and continuously create an inclusive environment for the people with disabilities community. Whenever I can, I love to take on new opportunities in my field and experiment with new hobbies! I am currently interested in internships that will enhance my communication skills, allow for collaboration with my peers and school-aged children, and opportunities to learn through research.
