About Erin Gerhard

I attend Ocean County College and enjoy being involved in my community. I am a very dedicated worker. I have experience volunteering as well as in customer service. My long term plan is to go into the animal science field and become a veterinarian. I have decided to pursue a career in this field because I am very passionate about it due to my long experience with animals. Not only have I learned to properly handle animals, but I have also learned how to treat them as well. I have much knowledge about many different species of animals but I believe there is always room for improvement. There will always be something more I can learn to better myself and make me a better veterinarian. I am very excited to see how everything turns out for me. Who knows, maybe I’ll open my own office someday. My interests include learning about animals, helping the community, working with others, taking the opportunities I am offered around me, and spending time with my friends and family.
