About Erin Joyner

I'm a process and people-obsessed learning and development professional with over 12 years of experience across educational leadership and tech. This includes everything from developing learning trajectories and anti-bias curriculum for students, to designing and implementing year-long professional development plans for teachers and new hire cohorts, to facilitating weekly company-wide trainings on communication and client relationship-building for software engineers. As a National Certified Counselor with additional training in UX design, I have specific expertise in the process of implementing an effective learning and development program, including: needs assessment, learning content design, program management, and evaluation. I'm a lifelong learner and educator at my core, and am grateful for the opportunity to use my L&D skillset to help others thrive in their career. I'm recognized for my ability to navigate ambiguity, listen authentically, and utilize data to inform strategy in an enthusiastic, high-energy manner. I'm at my best when identifying solutions to a problem that feels unsolvable - I live for the challenge, I love to get creative, and I thrive in fast-paced environments. I have extensive training in and passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and have facilitated workshops for young people, parents, and professionals at community events, and state and national conferences.
