About Erin Kent

Over 20 years’ experience serving youth and their families to reduce barriers to elementary and high school success. Primary roles include supporting high school youth in mental and behavioral health through crisis intervention, SFBT and CBT, and case management.Experienced in diverse forms of education equity, advocacy, and intervention with youth and adults, including survivors of domestic violence, elementary school youth, community based youth services, alternative high school students, and older adults experiencing memory loss. Well-versed in informing others about the impact of trauma; helping providers better understand how to serve traumatized folks, and helping survivors learn skills to navigate their experiences. Skilled in crisis intervention and supporting youth experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidality, helping them identify existing support systems and build personal resilience. Additional professional interests include economic justice, and educational, housing, and food equity.
