View my portfolio here: https://elammott.wixsite.com/portfolio With a burgeoning career focused on Geographic Information Science, my recent experiences include an impactful internship at Environmental Intelligence, LLC and university capstone project for an external client. At Environmental Intelligence, I applied my GIS expertise to create 204 map figures and a process workflow document, which contributed to the efficiency of a major utility provider's operations and enhanced cross-functional collaboration. My collaborative efforts in researching and proposing a microtransit plan demonstrate my commitment to practical, data-driven solutions for urban planning challenges. My professional journey is guided by a mission to harness geospatial data for environmental and social good. The competencies gained through my capstone project, such as analyzing transportation problems and developing proposals with a multidisciplinary team, align with my goal to join efforts in environmental protection, conservation, or urban planning. The requirements analysis, collaboration, and organization capabibilities developed in my previous Human Resources career enabled my project's success. Recently graduated in June 2024 with a Master of Science in GIS, I am eager to transition these skills into meaningful contributions within the field.
