Communication and authentic connection-they are the heart of who I am. Whether listening to someone's concerns, figuring out a problem, or finding the exact words to explain a concept, I love language. Language provides structure and rules with room for creativity, choice, and expression. Need something explained? That's me! Want to know where you can find information about a particular topic? I will research it thoroughly. Have a question about what we do? I'm happy to represent an organization. Need a listening ear? Come talk to me. I'm calm, steady, and focused. I love rules and function very well within structure. That's why math and phonics are so appealing to me. Within sets of rules, there are expected outcomes. When someone doesn't meet the expected outcomes, rules provide a structure through which I can show you "how it works". I'm constantly asking, how does this work?". I also learn new structures, and technology quickly. I love learning to use new programs and devices! Let's deal with our problems. Let's face our issues. I believe if we're honest, we can solve problems. I don't like to sweep things under the rug. It may be very difficult, but bringing problems into the light allows for problem solving. Let's work it out together.
