About Erin Layman

Hello! I am a certified physician assistant passionate about medicine, exercise, and mental health awareness. Throughout the past ten+ years of healthcare and clinical experience, I have discovered the aspects of patient care that I value most. First, I have learned to appreciate the importance of treating the entire person by focusing on both their physical and mental health. Secondly, team work is truly critical in healthcare. I have been blessed with amazing colleagues who may have made this easy for me, however I continue to try to bring enthusiasm and positivity to work daily. Finally, working in multiple underserved and underrepresented communities over the past year has highlighted the need to close the care gap and address disparities. I strive to bring these experiences and values forward as a provider, now in a physician assistant role. When I am not studying or nerding out over podcasts, I am almost always outdoors- whether it is hiking with my dog, paddle boarding in the mountains, or playing volleyball in various leagues and tournaments.
