Populations served; stroke/neuro, ortho/amp & geriatrics with a demonstrated history of working in hospitals, community & health care settings. Passionate about Person Centred Care, and goals that incorporate meaning, purpose, and individualized values in healthcare. Skilled at critical thinking and application, system navigation, resources identification, Dementia care/knowledge, caregiver supports & hands on care skills, individualized care plans, patient/family/caregiver education and leadership. Energetic and passionate professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreation Therapy from Brock University and a Recreation Leisure Services Diploma from Centennial College.
