About Erin MacDonald

As a dedicated teacher and coach, I have been serving the my community for over 15 years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Worcester State College and a Master of Education (MEd) with a specialization in Sport Management from Northcentral University. My passion lies in helping students achieve their academic and athletic goals, while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. In my current role as a teacher, I work with various students, monitoring their progress, focusing on mental and physical health, and providing feedback. I also participate in training programs and educational courses to stay updated with new teaching methods and resources. Additionally, I am a certified coach, where I lead various sports teams, including field hockey, lacrosse, basketball, and softball. I have successfully coached at different levels, from youth to high school and US Olympic Developmental levels, demonstrating my skills in planning practices, recruiting, assessing talent, enhancing individual and team performance, and raising funds. I am proficient in dealing with different personality types and maintaining strong communication with parents, officials, administration, and coaches.
