About Erin Oconnor

Erin has transitioned her multi-faceted management and therapeutic background into her current role as Manager, Business and Operations at the Cumming School of Medicine's newest research centre, the Centre for Health Informatics along with the working on program development and coordination of the Health Data Science and Biostatistics program. Erin is an operations professional with an undergraduate degree in Linguistics and minor in Speech Sciences from the University of Calgary and Graduate Diploma in Applied Health Sciences from Western University. Erin holds a Project Management Certificate and looks forward to completing her PMP designation later this year. Erin excels in building procedures from the ground-up and supporting health professionals to make a difference in the world. The intersection of health and operations is where Erin feels most at home. Through relationship building, organization, time managements, and a focus on continuous learning and collaboration, Erin brings teams together to accomplish big things. Erin maintains a strong interest in and remains an advocate for health equity for neurodiverse populations with a special focus in paediatrics. In her spare time, Erin is probably with her cat and dog, Sunshine and Chunk, and enjoys fitness of all kinds, especially barre, spin and yoga.
