About Erin Peace

Over the last nine years in the field, I have witnessed the power of collaborating with parents, teachers, counselors, and community members to support children's mental health. When working with families, I provide strengths-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused support to help families pursue their utmost potential. My clinical experience includes using Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy techniques, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based exercises with children, adolescents, and adults. In 2022, I was awarded the "Tom Hoeffner Award" from the Hill Country Chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy for outstanding education, training and professional services to the community that significantly develop, promote or advance the value of play therapy and credentialed play therapists. I received the "Honorary Veteran Award" in 2021 in recognition of outstanding service to the veteran community. I have extensive experience in developing curriculum for classes and groups, as well as providing individual counseling and training for both teachers and therapists supporting families' optimal development.
