I am a curious and crafty storyteller specializing in copywriting, content and features writing, blogging, newsletters, editing, social media, press releases, graphic design, and front-end web management. I graduated from Michigan State with a journalism degree and landed my role as a front-page features writer for The Suncoast News (a sister paper for The Tampa Tribune), where I acquired a Florida Press Association Award for Community Journalism. After teaching writing and literature, I transitioned to marketing, where I thrive by wielding my skills as both a writer and educator.Researching new health and design trends, DIY,"Pinteresting", and cooking are a few of my favorite things when I'm not writing and brainstorming for clients. I'm also an avid reader and soak in one to three books a week. A curious "ENFP", you might say I have eclectic tastes; my favorite industries include health and fitness, home design, finance (specifically personal budgeting/saving), travel food & wine, fashion, and art.
