About Erin Rossi

I've been working in a metal recycling warehouse for going on 3 years. I entered this industry with no experience and little knowledge of what the position entailed. I was in the pet grooming industry for 25 years prior. I was a mobile groomer for a nationwide Franchise, I worked for Corporate as their lead groomer and international trainer, and assisted with demos for potential franchise buyers. I broke records across the board in my ability to max out my rebooking schedule as well as set the bar for daily revenue per mobile groomer. I owned a shop of my own for several years and salvaged the tarnished reputation that I unknowingly walked into. it remains a thriving business to this day. I took a business opportunity with family and that's where I went wrong. I ended up having to start over and decided to try something new. I started in a warehouse where women were not working in prior years and that was a hard dynamic initially. Every day was a challenge and some days I didn't think I'd make it another day. I stuck with it though, started learning all the material, all the forklifts available I've had ample experience with. I've also learned how to drive the front-end loader but its minimal experience. I'm confident in my capabilities at this point but fairly uncertain if this is where my story ends as far as professions go. I'm passionate and enjoy learning new things, I'm full of ideas, enjoy brainstorming on ways to improve business, I'm great with finances, and ultimately feel there's more out there to explore and thrive at doing. I've realized I'm far more capable than I ever gave myself credit for.
