About Erin Ryan

Erin Ryan is over ten years experienced as a professional director, producer, and shooter working in the markets of New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Seoul. Erin arrives at directing by way of cinematography and loves the sport of visual artistry. She couples her intolerance for injustice and love of humanity in her works’ expression, routinely bringing people together through hard-to-digest conversation. Committed to telling uncomfortable stories, Erin holds a mirror to audiences engaged in divisive topics as opportunities for shared humanness. Humor and collaboration are her favored instruments in elevating cultural change. She currently directs full-time at the creative agency TCEG Films in Philadelphia with collaboration and creativity as focused forefronts. She's fortunate to have worked with many of her heroes including Tina Fey and Patty Jenkins, yet holds Jordan Peele high on the yet-to-come list. In her free time, Erin loves to remain affiliated with Philadelphia's Lil Filmmakers, a home for Philadelphia's growing artists while they dutifully craft their vision to a fully self-supporting, professional scale.
