About Erin Shepherd

Today, I work as a Category Manager with the Vizient Food Program, connecting the Vizient and Provista client base with the high quality products they need in their operations every day. I have responsibility for working with our valued suppliers in the center of the plate category, as well as entrees, soups, pasta, cereals, and grains. Prior to my time with Vizient, 17+years experience as an RDN with inpatient critical care, outpatient oncology care, preceptorship, and 8+ years experience in clinical leadership. 2014-2022, my role emphasized coordination of a complex and high-achieving clinical RDN team, interdisciplinary quality and process improvement including EHR updates and improvement, optimization of patient care using protocols, cost optimization through labor and product management, and development of education and skills in staff. I have also served in a corporate environment, offering employee wellness programming and vendor dining program marketing.
