I am a Senior Research Specialist and Lab Manager for the BITE Lab (Behavioral Interventions for Teens and Children's Eating) in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. Working under Dr. Andrea Goldschmidt, I manage several federally funded studies examining behavioral factors and neurocognitive correlates related to symptoms of Binge Eating Disorder in children. In addition, we are testing the efficacy of community-based treatments for adolescent anorexia nervosa. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Furman University, and am currently a masters-level student at the University of Tennessee. I am working towards my Masters of Public Health with a Community Health Education concentration to better understand how research interventions can be implemented and disseminated.
