About Erin Vidal

I lead the Organic Website Strategy at WP Engine, a WordPress technology and website hosting company. I have a knack for building processes and leading teams toward scalable content marketing programs. I’ve done this for many SaaS companies and non-profits based in SF and Austin including Main Street Hub (now GoDaddy) and Rev.com. I approach my goal of bringing qualified traffic to the sites I manage with a blend of creative thinking backed by data-informed decisions. As a trained journalist turned marketer, I like to conduct user research and turn insights into creative marketing campaigns and customer-inspired roadmaps. As a result, I typically work cross-functionally as a bridge between marketing and product or dev teams. I am also comfortable collaborating with customer success and sales leaders on insights that inform campaign messaging and sales enablement opportunities or working with executives on everything from site redesigns to reputation management. What else? In my previous life, I wrote for an international newspaper and taught English and journalism. Design and the written word are true passions for me and my work has been picked up and linked back to by The New York Times, Forbes, and PC Magazine.
