About Erin Wright

Hi, I’m Erin and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona. I have a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice. I have been a therapist since 2014. As a therapist and coach my first goal is to ensure a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients. With that as a solid foundation clients can heal past traumas, rewrite their internal stories, and move forward into being who they strive to be. I have experience assisting clients with anxiety, depression, self-worth, self-esteem, grief and loss, addiction issues, substance use/abuse, anger, trauma, and relationship issues. I have specialized experience working with adolescent and adult clients with sexually maladaptive and sexually abusive behaviors as well. I utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral theories, motivational interviewing, solution focused techniques, and mindfulness skills that are all client centered. I enjoy working with clients one on one and in group settings. The populations that I work with are adolescents and adults. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, watching sports such as hockey, football and tennis, playing tennis, reading and all kinds of music.
