Passionate about community-driven planning. My praxis is grounded in intersectional antiracist feminism and queer theory developed and honed by Black and Indigenous organizers, scholars, and visionaries of the past and present. I believe in the generative potential of grassroots and academic QTBIPOC community coalitions to (re)imagine and realize just and thriving futures together. My work is informed by my identity as a queer mixed-race South Asian and white ciswoman born and raised on the occupied territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I am held up by the knowledge, skills, and passion of the youth, elders, mentors, family, and friends that I am blessed to walk through life with.
