Extensive capital markets and structured credit experience. Primary responsibilities focused on enhancing risk distribution capability, credit portfolio optimisation, deal structuring & execution, and developing investor partnerships. More than £25bn of notional structured trade activity spanning multiple credit risk mitigation tools (SRT, CRI, FG, portfolio sales/acquisitions, sub-participations). Structuring and execution experience / responsibilities include: Securitisation & Structured Products: structure and execute own-asset synthetic securitisations. Executed transactions across asset classes, with more than £9bn notional referenced across the portfolios, this includes the first ever fully 'green' ESG compliant synthetic SRT. Alternative Risk Distribution: use of Credit Risk Insurance (CRI) and Financial Guarantee (FG) products for to enable front book origination activity and optimise capital consumption. Executed more than £12bn of CRI policies across asset classes (Project Finance, Infrastructure, Leveraged Finance, TMT, Auto, Retail, Professional Loans, SAF, ABL, Fund Finance, Trade Finance). Portfolio sales/acquisitions: lead portfolio sales for the Corporate & Institutional bank, while also acting as internal advisor for cross franchise portfolio sales. Executed more than £4bn of portfolio sales/acquisitions across various asset classes (CRE, Asset Finance, Project Finance, LevFin, Shipping, unsecured SME).
