OK* Erlend Styve is a trilingual Client Delivery Lead at Kraken, fundamentally transforming the energy industry worldwide, including in Japan. At Kraken Technologies, Erlend is part of the team leading client delivery efforts in Japan, working hand-in-hand with energy retailers to guide them through fundamental business transformation. His role goes far beyond system migration, it’s about consulting with clients to help them take meaningful, manageable steps toward becoming modern, high-performance energy companies. This includes redesigning operations, restructuring teams, and embedding a future-ready mindset, all powered by Kraken’s industry-leading technology and Octopus Energy’s proven, world-class operating model. Erlend supports clients in navigating this journey end-to-end, from initial transformation strategy to practical execution on the ground, helping unlock the full potential of their people, processes, and platforms. Before joining Kraken, Erlend worked as a Business Development Consultant at Intralink Japan. There, he fulfilled responsibilities as a Sales Representative, Market Entry Consultant, and Account Manager, delivering strategic opportunities for Western tech companies entering the Japanese market. He managed projects in hydrogen production, GHG monitoring, biomass, smart mobility, and sustainable energy, as well as electronics and enterprise software. Erlend began his career at PwC Japan as a Sustainability and International Development Consultant after earning a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Studies from Sophia University. He led project management for international trade development initiatives connecting European technologies to Japanese industries, with a focus on sustainability and renewable energy. Having lived and worked in Japan since 2013, Erlend brings deep market insight, cultural fluency, and a proven ability to bridge global innovation with local success. He is fluent in Norwegian, English, and Japanese.
