About Erlich Hava

After 30 years in the public sector at senior positions- both at the municipal level and the state level- I am now on a different path. Taking all my experiance and skills into new directions. Since mid 2021, I am a Senior Researcher and Head of the Urban Planning team, at Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research. I also teach as a lecturer at Ono Academoc College. On top of that I am a consaltent for planning teams and local municipalities. Recently, a book that I wrote was published (in Hebrew), that is called:"City Wisdom". The book summarize some of the fundamentals in urban planning, and explains how it is done in Israel. At a more general level: my main experience is in the fields of public administration, master planning and policy. I have a strong passion for designing complex policy solutions for complicated problems that involves processes, policies and spatial planning. My PhD focused on Public/Private partnerships, through planning procedures, and I truley believe that this is the future main tool for planning and development. Along with that I am interested in digital governance in municipalities and government, asking how we can integrate digitization into spatial planning and policy decisions at the state and local levels.For more details please visit my site: citywiser.com
