About Erlind Rrapaj

I am an electronic engineer with a strong background in product compliance and a passion for ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements. I began my career as a safety engineer at UL and Dekra in Italy, where I gained hands-on experience in testing and certifying electronic products for safety and compliance with global standards. Over the years, I’ve specialized in the safety compliance of electronic products, particularly household appliances, IT equipment, automatic controls, and other electronic devices. I have in-depth knowledge of essential safety standards such as IEC 60335, IEC 62368, IEC 60730, IEC 61010 as well as UL/CSA standards for North America. My expertise also extends to EU directives, including LVD, MD, EMC, RED, REACH and RoHS, ensuring compliance at every stage of the product lifecycle. Currently, I work as a Compliance Specialist at Danfoss in Denmark, where I focus on helping the company navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensuring smooth market access for our products. My role is identifying potential risks in early stage where I collaborate closely with RD engineers by making compliance essential part of the process.
