About Ermal Hetemi

As an Assistant Professor in Organisation and Innovation at Linnaeus University, I teach and supervise students in the fields of project management, innovation, and sustainability mgt. With over eight years of academic experience, I have a PhD in Industrial Management and Economics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where I also work as a researcher. My research focuses on exploring the institutional dynamics, stakeholders, and complexities in multi-actor organizing. I also investigate how to manage across organizational boundaries in projects involving multiple parties, as well as in programs, portfolios, and the transition from project to operations. Additionally, I study innovation in large-scale projects, examining capability development, learning, and collaboration. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and received the EURAM 2023 Best Reviewer Award and the 2015 Donald S. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of (project) organizing and innovation and contributing to the development of sustainable and resilient systems and society at large.
